WHO needs to tryout?
 

• T-Ball, NO.  Near the end of March, teams will be assigned and families notified via the Sports Engine App. 
• Rookies, YES.
• Minors, YES.
• Majors, YES. But, only players new to the division. Returning players will return to the same team from the previous season.

• Babe Ruth, YES. All Babe Ruth players are required to tryout this year.  Babe Ruth tryouts will be 1 day only, February 28th, from 2pm-3pm at CR High School JV field.

Picture day will be April 18th. Times to announced. Please check back for link to order. 

WHERE are tryouts?
 

Tryouts are held at the baseball fields within the North County Recreation Complex in Castle Rock. Please check in at the entry of the ballpark, then the tryout will correspond to the division's designated field.

Babe Ruth tryouts will be held at the CR High School JV field.

WHEN are tryouts? 3 options this year

Friday February 27th, 6-8pm All ages

Saturday February 28th:

Majors 10am

Minors 11am

Rookies 12pm

Babe Ruth 2pm

Sunday March 1st

Majors 1pm

Minors 2pm

Rookies 3pm

***Tryout times and location subject to change due to weather. If there is a change to time or location- an email will be sent out to the email associated with the player at registration. 

WHAT does tryouts entail?
 

Players will have the opportunity to demonstrate batting and fielding skills prior to the team draft. Players should bring their helmet, bat and glove if they have equipment; the League will have equipment available in the event players have not purchased theirs yet.

Players only need to attend ONE tryout. Please have your player show and be ready to try out.
